Doxie mix3 viewsHank is a Doxie mixed with something. He is an adult neutered male, eyes slightly cloudy, long body with short legs, but heavier coat than a PB Doxie. He is good with other dogs (likes to play and dominate-not aggressively) , plays fetch with a tennis ball and likes to carry around bones in his mouth. He is already neutered. He is adorable!!!!

German Shepherd4 viewsSkye is a super sweet black and tan adult. She is approximately 5 years old. She loves attention from people and rides well in the car. She is learning basic commands. Skye is not particularly fond of other dogs, but she is working on this issue in foster care. She has shown a high prey drive by chasing squirrels and birds and it's doubtful she'd do well in a home with small dogs or cats due to this.
Skye was rescued from a very high kill shelter in central Alabama just days before she gave birth. Someone had anonymously placed this very pregnant dog in the overnight drop off kennel. After Skye's puppies were adopted into wonderful adoptive homes, Skye was spayed and had the growth removed from her snout. It turned out to be nothing more than a dermoid cyst. Skye has a small scar resulting from this. She also had to be treated for heartworms and now has a completely clean bill of health.

This dog is crate trained, spayed or neutered, up to date on shots and HW negative. Adoption application, home visit, and $350 adoption fee are required.

He loves being petted and handled but would probably be best in a home with older children or adults because of his size and strength. Michelle431 views Why Choose Me?
Michelle is up there in years, but she is so sweet! You can't help but wonder if she can see anything. Whatever she can see has to be limited, but there is no telling to what degree. She must have just gotten turned around somehow to be picked up and brought here. She's a precious, curly-haired sweetheart who deserves a warm home to live out her last years. Who knows? She may have a good 5-6 left in her! She's precious and cuddly, and older dogs usually have a harder time getting rescued.
