Blue Tick Hound Mix & Rat Terrier1 viewsRoy and Shelby were devastated to be left alone when their caretaker passed away. they sat at the shelter, waiting, day after day for someone to come and take them out of there. We received a call from a shelter staff telling us about these very sweet special dogs, when we arrived at the shelter i could see right away, these dogs had been truly and genuinely loved for their lives.
They both came to my house and were sad and out of sorts the first day, but within a short time were starting to follow me around the house demanding love and attention. they help in the garden. They are trying to show me all of the 'old' routine, Roy sits on the couch with his head on my lap, rolling over for a belly rub, while Shelby sits on a pillow by my head giving a little flurry of butterfly kisses when she can.
Roy is a blue tick hound mix, about 45 pounds, and estimated to be 8-10 years old. he is a real and honest friend. he just loves you so much that he just cant stand it.
Shelby is a 10 year old rat terrier that is sweet, quiet, gentle with a little dash of sassyness. she dotes on you and feels that you are the center of every thing good in the world.
They are an amazing pair, happy and easy going. They adore other dogs, are well behaved, and are not destructive in any way. Roy and Shelby will need to be placed together, and when you meet them you will see how sweet and easy they are together.

explanation as to why. She was a little shy and scared when she first arrived, but
several days had passed by the time I met her and she was an absolute angel. I
certainly can't blame her for being uncomfortable in this environment. She's a beauty
who would be even more stunning with a warm sudsy bath and a good brushing. And she's
actually much smaller than she appears in pictures, about 50 pounds. She doesn't
require much, just the basics like food, water, and a nice place to call home.
Update:I'm proud to anounce, snowflake is no longer shy. I have gone everyday to spend time with her, and she was originally deemed unadoptable, but that is only because she was scared to death when her owner left her. She is so sweet, loves walks, wags her tail at anyone who will talk to her. She is very gentle, and is unsure of her surroundings as she has had an owner for nine years of her life. Please come place an application on her; she is absolutely wonderful, and would love to devote the rest of her years to a new bestfriend!

Meet Kale... he's not aggressive with other dogs, he just has absolutely no interest in other dogs. A couple of my dogs have tried to initiate play with him, but he seems to have no idea what to do in response. Kale is a dear, sweet, happy little guy. For a terrier he is very calm, quiet and undemanding.

Meet Buttons!!781 viewsMy name is Buttons. I am two yrs old and I weigh 8 #‘s. I am a handsome fellow that anyone can love. I was so glad to see my Foster Mom and her wonderful friend when they came to rescue me. It was so nice to sleep in a warm, dry, safe, quiet space last night. I was found wondering the streets of Orlando, Fl and was in the shelter for a few days. Im not a barker. I have all my shots, I have been nuetered, Heartworm prevention...I even have a Micro Chip so if I get lost again I can go home quickly..I am a lover.
I don't hesitate to eat. My Foster Mom gave me soft food this morning...she said I should not get real used to it cause she didn't want to spoil me for my Forever Family.
I am very friendly, I love everybody, and especially those who will speak softly to me and give me lovings. I will roll over on my back and let you rub my tummy...I really like that a lot...lay in your lap...ummm height of luxury, WOW. My Foster Mom doesn't know for sure, but feels safe in saying that I will like children, there are 2 at her home for a test run though. I have such a sweet disposition, how could I not like children...as long as they are nice to me. I figure a few more laps I can lay in, a few more to take me for a walk and to play with me. I love to play with you and I love toys too. I growl and shake them like crazy. I love the thought of all that extra attention and hugs. I love to go outside and I walk on my leach beautifully. I am just an all around Super Little Man. Oh, did I tell you that I loved riding in the car too...that is as good as laying in your lap...of course, it would be an even nicer ride if I could lay in your lap in the car too.
I hope that you will consider me for your home and family. No way you could go wrong with me at your side. Hurry and fill out an application cause my foster mom says I am going to find my Forever Home fast…she said something about people standing in line to adopt me… maybe I can pick myself a family, if that is the case.
