Shepherd, Collie [Mix]6 viewsMy name is Marina. I am a Shepherd Collie mix. I am a female, not spayed, young girl. I'm about 1 1/2 years old, tan with some white. I'm not known to be much of a barker, when I have something to say I will let you know. Someone just dropped me off at the shelter after hours. I am current on vaccinations and ready to be adopted into your heart and home.

Waldo.jpg
Border Collie mix1 viewsWaldo is a special needs puppy - he is deaf. Waldo is energetic and playful. He loves to snuggle and be with people. Waldo needs a home where he will be challenged to develop his full potential. Waldo needs to be in a home where he will be a part of the family and be included in family activities. Mu guess is that Waldo will be a medium size dog with a high energy level when full grown. He will need plenty of exercise and training. Deaf dogs can be trained using sign language hand signals. Waldo, also, need a home that has a securely fenced yard and he must always be leashed when out of the house or yard. Waldo would benefit from a home where there is another dog in residence to help him "learn the ropes". Please research the care needs of a deaf dog. References and trainers are available. Some references on the web are Spirit of Deaf Dogs, Deaf Dog Webpage and Deaf Dogs Atlas.

Cooperr.jpg
Cooper14 viewsThis beautiful smart lovable boy, and a very quick learner. Needs a home and this is his story..... " Hi, my name is Cooper, I am a Hurricane Katrina pet. The reason why I state this is because Hurricane Katrina took my home away and my fence. My previous owners can no longer care for my active needs without a fence. I need a loving home with a fenced in backyard and children to play with! I love to play Frisbee and I will do anything to get my paws on one! I love to play tennis and its even more fun when you tie up a tennis ball in a sock". He is current on his shots , neutered, and is microchipped for identification. He rides very well in a vehicle. He gets along with other pets, and cats too! He does love his bones and prefers to enjoy them by himself without other pets in his face!If you have always wanted to do something very special for a Hurricane Katrina Pet this is the boy for you!!! If you would like to open your home and your heart to this beautiful boy, please contact us.
