Rotty mix2 viewsThis little female mixed breed pup is the sweetest little thing. She is almost housebroke. She whines when she needs to go potty and will go when you take her outside. I have wormed and de flea'd her. She goes to the vet tomorrow for her first shots. She is very healthy and as you can see she has claimed the senior Boxer as her momma. As long as she can sleep with her she is quiet and happy. She looks to be a small mixed Rotty with maybe shephard? Her feet are not that big so she will not be a large dog. Probably 35 lbs when grown.

German Shepherd7 viewsTrinka is 3.5 years old and roughly 60 pounds. If you are looking for sweet and petite, Trinka might be your girl. Her ideal home would be one that accepts her for who she is and understands her limitations. She is a homebody, loves being a housedog and is quite comfy on the furniture as one can see from her pictures.
Trinka is a submissive type female who does well with other dogs her size or larger. She actually needs the company of other dogs to feel secure. She has a strong prey drive and will chase just about anything that moves fast. During the summer time being squirted with the hosepipe and splashing in her baby pool is her favorite game! She is not suitable for a home with young children (they scare her), cats or small dogs.
Trinka has mild food allergies which causes itchy ears and itchy paws. The food that has worked well to keep this in remission is by Wellness - Simple Food Solutions Venison formula. It's not much more expensive than any other high quality pet food.
Trinka was taken into rescue on Mother's Day 2004 along with ther littermates, Rex and Macy (who have already been adopted). The breeder couldn't "get rid" of all the puppies and called animal control to pick them up. They were 6 weeks old and living under a porch. When they would not come out to the AC officer, he put a snare pole around their little necks and drug them out. Then he took them to an overcrowded shelter and all three put together in a tiny cage. How scary is that? In spite of her start in life, Trinka has begun to overcome some of her insecurities. She's still unsure in new situations, leary of men and children but is adoptable to a special home.We believe that home is out there somewhere.

Formosan Mountain7 viewsHayley was rescued in Taiwan. She is a graceful, slender, tall spayed female Formosan Mountain dog, approx 30 pounds, between 1 and 2 years old, with all shots. She is a beautiful golden yellow color, with a close coat, upright ears and a long, elegant nose, deep brown eyes rimmed with dark mascara, and a long, whippy tail often carried curved over her back. She looks like an ancient dog-goddess!
Hayley’s a sweetheart. She's very playful both by herself and with other dogs. She knows her name and comes to it. She does well on lead, and in meeting other dogs at Fort Funston where she goes for walks. She is working on housetraining, and is reliably crate-trained. Like other Formosan Mt dogs, she bonds very closely with one or two primary humans, and, as her love horizons expand, will continue to bond until she includes other family members. She is a bit shy when meeting stranger-people initially, but soon relaxes, and she is curious about people she has never met before. She does not pay any attention to cats.
Hayley entered the USA on September 1, after having been rescued as a youngster with her sister. When they were rescued, they either had been abandoned by their mother or otherwise lost her, they were both starving, and their rescuer believes they in desperation had eaten something that was poisonous to them. Her sister, unfortunately, could not be saved, although their rescuer did her best, so Hayley came to the US with a combination name, part hers and part her sister’s. Her name on arrival became Harmony, but her new foster family shortened it to Hayley. She is a loving, quiet natured dog, who will probably not become a watchdog, as she is not very bark-y
Hayley will do well in a home with quiet-natured older children, and would do fine as an only dog or as a companion to another dog, whether her size, smaller or larger. She would be fine in a one or 2 person household, as well, and will need exercise on a lead or in a yard.

Pug4 viewsHi, my name is Puggy and I am an eight month old purebred female Pug. I came into rescue due to the fact my owners were unable to house-train me and left me outside all of the time. It was not that they did not want me, but decided to re-home me and keep their male Pug/mix that was already housetrained. They said I did not like him and was not good with cats or other dogs............however, my new foster momma has nine little dogs here and I get along with each and everyone of them. I would love a fenced in back yard and someone that truly loves my breed. I am not a large Pug but weigh about 16 pounds....and am fully grown. I am sweet and loving but feel a bit rejected at the moment because nobody seems to want me. My foster momma said that it is their loss as she loves me tons.
